Checkered steel plate, also known as chequered steel plate, is the steel plate corrugated with rhombic pattern on the surface. The rhombic pattern can be of a single diamond, lentil or round bean shape, functions as antiskid and decoration purpose.

Rhombic checkered steel plates have good strength which can be used as floor panel, factory stair panel, deck board and car boards, wall panels. Checkered steel plates are supplied in a variety of plate thickness ranging from 2.5mm to 8mm.

Steel materials are commonly of #1-#3 carbon steels, the chemical composition applies to GB700 carbon construction steel certificate.
