Tread plate is a kind of industrial flooring panel made from steel and aluminum plate with an embossed / checkered bar arranged in diamond shaped pattern for increased fraction and durability. Tread plate chequered is also known as diamond plate with raised checkers or lines on one side, with the reverse side being flat panels.

Tread plates are manufactured from rolling slabs subject to hot rolling to the prescribed thickness. Metal steel tread plates provide safety non-skidding treads for dock surfaces, vehicle running boards, and more tread flooring.

Pattern: The tread plates can have a surface of five bar, two bar, and one bar diamond patterns.

Tread plates can be stainless steel, aluminum or carbon steel.
Carbon steel tread plates are economic materials commonly used as scaffold plank sheet for the scaffolding system, used as walking decks, stair tread, and metal safety flooring uses.
Steel tread plates are supplied black steel or hot dip galvanized finish.
Aluminum tread plates are nonsparking, corrosion resistant, and nonmagnetic materials.
Stainless steel plates are mostly used for high grade architectural or decoration uses.
